These terms govern access to and use of Dukanam. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and, where applicable, the business you represent.
Using Dukanam
You must provide accurate account information, protect login credentials, assign staff permissions carefully, and use the service only for lawful business activity. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for maintaining appropriate internal controls.
Your business data
You retain rights in the business data you submit. You give Dukanam permission to host, process, transmit, back up, and display that data only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service or meet legal duties. You must have the right to submit personal and business information stored in your workspace.
Billing and subscriptions
Plan prices, limits, trial periods, and included features are shown when you subscribe and may be updated for future billing periods with appropriate notice. Taxes may apply. Unless a cancellation or refund right is required by law or stated at purchase, fees for an active billing period are not automatically refundable.
Tax and accounting boundary
Dukanam provides software tools for recording transactions and preparing business information. It is not a chartered accountant, tax adviser, legal adviser, bank, payment gateway, or government filing portal. GST, accounting, compliance, and report outputs should be reviewed for your business circumstances before filing or relying on them.
Acceptable use
- Do not access another business without authorization.
- Do not probe, bypass, or disrupt security or service limits.
- Do not upload malicious code or use the service for fraud or unlawful activity.
- Do not copy, resell, or reverse engineer protected parts of the service except where law permits.
- Do not use automated access in a way that harms availability for other users.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Dukanam reliable, but the service may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance, security work, provider incidents, or events outside reasonable control. Features may change as the product develops. Material reductions to paid service should receive appropriate notice where practical.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service and may cancel an eligible subscription through the available account flow. We may restrict or suspend access to protect the service, investigate abuse, comply with law, or address non-payment. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.
Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, Dukanam is provided without warranties beyond those expressly stated. We are not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate source data, misuse, unauthorized account access, third-party services, or decisions made without professional review. Liability limitations that apply will not exclude rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited.
