The counter flow

Routine sales stay routine.

01

Find the item immediately

USB barcode scanners work as keyboard input. Exact barcode or SKU matches add the item, while product-name search handles exceptions.

  • Barcode, SKU, and name search
  • Immediate search focus
  • Quantity and discount controls
  • Visible stock availability
02

Choose only the customer detail needed

Walk-in Customer keeps an anonymous sale fast. Select a saved consumer or B2B customer when the invoice needs identity, address, or GST details.

  • Walk-in Customer default
  • Consumer and B2B records
  • Saved receivable history
  • Immutable invoice snapshot
03

Collect the payment your way

Take cash, UPI, card, bank, cheque, credit, or split tender. Cash depends on the shared shop register; digital payments remain available when it is closed.

  • Exact-amount UPI QR
  • Cash register safeguards
  • Progressive split payment
  • Receipt confirmation reminder
04

Post everything together

Checkout creates the invoice, payment, stock movement, journal entry, customer balance, and audit event in one transaction, with retry protection.

  • Idempotent checkout
  • Connected stock movement
  • Balanced journal posting
  • A4 and 80mm reprint

CASH THAT CAN BE COUNTED

One shared register for the counter.

Open with a float, record cash in or cash out, let authorized cashiers share the session, and close against expected cash with a visible variance.

POS questions

Before the first counter sale.

Do I need special barcode-scanner integration?

No. Common USB scanners behave like keyboard input. The POS field accepts the scanned code and adds an exact barcode or SKU match.

Can UPI work while the cash register is closed?

Yes. UPI, card, and bank payments do not require an open physical cash register. Cash becomes selectable after an authorized user opens the shared counter register.

Can I print a thermal receipt?

Yes. Posted invoices support an 80mm print layout as well as A4 browser printing and PDF saving through the print dialog.

What happens if checkout is clicked twice?

Each POS checkout carries an idempotency key, so an identical retry returns the original result rather than creating a duplicate invoice.

The next queue can be shorter.

Set up the items, connect the shop UPI ID, and keep the counter focused.
