Dukanam is billing and bookkeeping software for Indian small businesses. It connects POS sales, invoices, purchases, stock, customer and supplier balances, payments and reports. It is owned and operated by Amvention Private Limited.
Ownership and company details →Dukanam has a browser-based web application and Android and iOS apps for supported business workflows. Check the app page for official store links. Test your scanner, receipt printer and counter setup separately; app availability does not imply every hardware integration.
Official mobile app links →Dukanam does not promise offline billing. Plan for an internet connection and test your everyday counter setup before switching. A compatible USB scanner can enter a stored barcode as keyboard input; test receipt printing with your own browser and printer.
Counter and receipt workflows →Yes, on a plan with serial tracking. Enable serial tracking for the item and record each handset IMEI as an individual serial. Track the unit through purchases, sales and returns, with a warranty end date when known. Serial-tracked items use whole units. This does not provide repair-job management or decide warranty claims.
Handset IMEI workflow →Yes, on a plan with batch tracking. Record lot quantities and expiry dates; the suggested lot uses eligible stock with the earliest expiry. Expired, held or recalled stock is blocked from sale, and unusable stock can be written off. An item uses batch tracking or serial tracking, not both. These controls do not establish pharmacy, cosmetic or pesticide regulatory compliance.
Batch and expiry workflow →Yes, on a plan with warehouse stock. Maintain locations and transfers within the same business and check each location’s stock. A transfer changes location quantities without changing total stock. This does not promise a complete multi-outlet ERP or automatic box-to-piece conversion.
Counter and godown example →Yes, on a plan with party pricing. Assign a price list to a customer, configure item rates and quantity breaks, and optionally apply a customer-wide discount. The highest eligible quantity break is used; an explicit manual rate overrides the resolved price. Purchase documents still use the supplier’s entered or quoted rate.
Wholesale pricing and balance example →No. Dukanam provides plan-gated GST preparation, including GST-aware documents and return working data. Review and export those records for your filing process. GST preparation is separate from direct GST portal filing, IRP submission and e-way submission; Dukanam does not currently promise those submissions.
GST preparation and its limits →No. An exact-amount UPI QR helps the customer pay. Check the payment before recording it as received; a saved payment record is not a promise of automatic bank confirmation.
